SATANS WAY OF PISSING OFF FANS ALL OVER THE WORLD
well….here i am again talking about college sports, its seems every halloween time-ish there is a dispute on who is, or who should be #1. to me i think that USC is #1 plain and simple, now BEFORE you stop reading (if you were already) remember there schedule they have to play UCLA, Arizona State, Oregon, Notre Dame, but i also get the feedback saying that “the games were close, and they were down until the end, oh great and amazing alan!” not really the only close one was against ND, and thats a good team Texas almost lost to OSU…yes i know that Young DID have 500+ total yards but waiting until the 4th quarter to show up against a bad team, does not make Texas look like a BCS favorite to me, #2 yes BUT no #1 (close though).
USC is soooo hard to defend, if you put 6,7,8 men in the box to stop White, and Bush BOOM #11 pops you with a 20-30 yard pass, how can you defend that??? all these play makers, i think the only D in the nation that could keep up to USC’s O is Virginia Tech, i think they would do better than Texas ” BUT ALAN!!! TEXAS HAD YOUNG’S THROWING AND RUNNING!!!”….and so does VT Vick can do the same, or better than young, and has a better D on his team.
Also i wanna address the unbeaten teams UCLA, and Bamma…well, there is not much to say about them both, they will both lose, i can tell you that 4 sure, bamma in SEC title game, UCLA loses to USC (UCLA has won all thier games by 3-7 points in the few seconds remaining in each game agaisnt lame teams EX: stanford, stanford, stanford), well for right now this is my top 8…there is more to say but hey…get over it
(but watch for the VT Vs. Miami game (VT will win most likely but hey Texas hopeful my vote is w/ VT for now for #2)

What do you think? I agree on most of it although I really think that USC is over rated. They don’t play in a hard conference, and their talent really isn’t that extraordinary — nor is their coaching. I really believe that UCLA will beat them, if not UT will in the BCS championship. Anyway, disagree or agree if you want to. Comments appreciated…

Flock
So I got an e-mail this morning from flock (which is a revolutionary new browser built on the firefox code base, in case you didn’t know) and it told me that I had been chosen for a developer preview! Yep, I am writing to you from the new integrated blog publisher. And yes… it is completely awesome. Sure it’s still in beta–0.5 “pre”-beta to be exact and it still has some kinks (like the favorites manager, full compatibility with firefox plugins, and it’s still a bit slow working through the interface) although it looks to be very promising. I already love this browser and have only been using it for 2 hours! So there you have it… go the flock.com enter your e-mail and maybe they’ll e-mail you to beta test too… it’s so awesome.

Dreams… in a coma?
I was presented with this question today in English class; “Can a human suspended in a vegtated state (aka coma) experience REM sleep (aka dreams).” My first response was yes. Of course, all your brain functions are still working but you just don’t have control over your prepherial senors or are able to control your muscular system.
Upon furthur investigation, however, I found that you cannot experience dreams. Why? Well I’m glad you asked. The reason is because your brain switches from experiencing gamma, beta, alpha, and theta brain waves on a normal basis to experiencing delta waves. Hmmm… what is all this talk of gamma and beta and delta waves you say. Well you gamma, beta, alpha and theta waves are all the waves that deal with the outside world or your physical senses. When you go into a coma, your brain suspends those waves and switches to the delta waves. These waves are not capable of creating the “dreams” that we experience in a regular sleep cycle.

Ok. So if you’re a supergenius and are bored then this is something that sounds like fun. I’ve done probabilites of lots of things when I’m bored but I marvel at all the work this guy’s put into it. I mean this is freakin amazing. Anything and everything you would ever need to know about Monopoly is here. You have to check it out… It is the most amazing thing ever… Now, I can beat all my friends even better. Of course after I went on an undefeated spree well, the stopped playing. Anyone willing to take up a genius in a little game of Monopoly???
